Any cushions requiring contouring (rounding, tapering, etc.) will require a previous cushion skin (this is the most accurate and easiest method), or a template made by the customer. A template must consist of a paper or cloth pattern, in which the customer has clearly defined the outline of the cushion, tie placement, etc.
